So sometimes this podcast thing I started up as a hobbie allows me to do some of the cooliest things ever. This week is a prime example of this as I got to spend some time with one of my favourite bands Vivian Girls before I saw a mind blowing live show. The girls were really nice and although my recording skills weren't amazing, the interview is really interesting.

Another example of the priveledges this 'cast affords me, is I have been asked to DJ at an incredible Haitian releif gig at The Cluny. It's on the 5th February and 2 of my favourite North East bands are playing; Field Music and Beth Jeans Houghton are playing with more tba. So did we all have a good new year? I don't remember much of mine apart from ruining 15 pounds worth of beef by trying to cook it in the microwave and spitting champagne on one of my mates' girlfriend. All in all pretty successful!

In the las programme we revealed your fav songs of 2009 and this week we start all over again by previewing the bands, I think, are going to be huge in 2010. It is an epic show playing over 30 artists so tracklistings would be a chore. However if you go to the myspace all the acts I play will be in my top friends soon enough.

Happy end of May guys!
